itges Special Occasions is a part of the Liberty Sitges S L group - owners of the Hotel Liberty, Sitges Property Services & "www.staysitges.com" rentals.

The business was originally established with the purchase of the Hotel Liberty in 1999. We took a long hard look at the `bed and breakfast' offering and decided we wanted and could offer a great deal more than our competition. Something we have achieved but which we do not rest upon.

The following year we began purchasing apartments in the centre of town for holiday letting. Again, however, we were not satisfied with what we had inherited and wanted to offer our guests something more that just a holiday apartment. So we decided to offer servicing of apartment accommodation every 3 days, including cleaning, laundry and quality linens as well as good quality, reasonably priced accommodation.

To date this has attracted some 40+ owners (the majority have turned into firm friends) to place their apartments with us for management and servicing from making and taking bookings, greeting guests and looking after their reasonable needs while they have stayed in apartments. We have also helped dozens of would-be owners to realise their dream and purchase a property in Sitges and the surrounding area.

As owners we are gay and proud of the business and services we are able to offer discerning clients, gay, straight and even the undecided and unsure! Not all of our team are gay and we welcome this diversity and the contribution that can be made by every member of our team.

We will also, of course, be delighted and pleased to show our "straight" clients and guests what we can deliver in terms of service and experience. In 2004 and in 2005 we purchased 2 large houses in Qint Mar and Vora Sitges to offer "state of the art" accommodation in either a thoroughly modern `clean-cut' style or an Edwardian country house with all modern conveniences. By refurbishment, re-styling and re-designing onto the original fabric we can now provide a truly exceptional standard of stay for groups or families.

Building upon this firm foundation Sitges Special Occasions has been established to enhance this service provision by offering to clients the opportunity to receive the service and attention that is the hallmark of the Liberty Sitges group by organising and catering to the highest standard for that special and memorable special event. We pride ourselves not just on the quality of our food and the excellence of our service but also on the enjoyment of the whole "occasion" experience.

In our pursuit of excellence we carefully consider every detail to provide the blend of modern creature comforts that we all have difficulty living without. To deliver an experience we hope and confidently expect you will want to return to and enjoy and share with friends and relatives.
